About Us
The Roman Catholic Society of Medicine is a professional association for healthcare workers who seek to integrate clinical excellence with the moral and spiritual tradition of the Catholic faith.
We exist to support clinicians in delivering compassionate, ethical, and human-centred care, grounded in the dignity of every person and inspired by the healing ministry of Christ.
The Society provides a forum for shared learning, discussion of medical ethics, professional development, and mutual support among Catholic healthcare professionals working across all fields of medicine and prehospital care.
Under the patronage of Saint Raphael the Archangel, we aim to foster integrity, service, and charity in medical practice, encouraging members to grow both in skill and in faith as they care for the sick and vulnerable.
The Society is open to healthcare professionals of all disciplines who share its values and commitment to ethical practice.
“The life and physical health of every human being is a precious gift entrusted by God.”
